Emergency response in a war zone is a challenge for first responders and public health workers, requiring a highly collaborative and coordinated response. Practitioners must be able to provide care with limited resources, often with additional challenges including limited access to resources such as power, fuel, transportation, equipment, supplies and volunteers. In this poster, an early response to the Russian invasion in Ukraine is described where a veterinary tent is set up at a border station on the Danube River in Romania. The following year, a mobile veterinary clinic is built in Arizona and deployed to the front lines of Ukraine. Implications of the migration of over six million Ukrainian refugees, and their pets, must be considered in regard to the spread of zoonotic and other infectious disease during the early stages of the conflict.
