About me
Alan is an Environmental Public Health Analyst on the Colorado Environmental Public Health Tracking team at CDPHE. He is currently finishing a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Notre Dame, where his research focused on using machine learning and climate data to predict infectious disease. Before his PhD, Alan earned an MSc in Geocomputation from the National Centre for Geocomputation in Ireland and worked at a cloud-based mapping software company. In his free time, Alan enjoys baking and hiking with his dog, Roxy.
