About me
Angie is the Principal and Cofounder of CORE, bringing over two decades of contraceptive access, clinical, public health, and health systems expertise. She began her career in 1998 at Denver Health Medical Center and holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a Women’s Health focus from the University of Colorado. In her roles as a Project Director, Nurse Consultant and Senior Technical Advisory, Angie has led the development of numerous agency-level and statewide contraceptive, clinical and public health initiatives. Her experience spans developing and implementing provider training curriculum, translating national guidelines into practice, bridging the gap between policy, advocacy and clinical implementation, and leading multi-year clinical quality improvement projects. Her facilitation skills have been honed through years of convening diverse stakeholders in strategic planning and systems-level transformation efforts. Her work is grounded in cultural humility, justice and equity-focused engagement with frontline health professionals and communities. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Public Health Association and The Queue, where she continues to champion contraceptive access for all, public health nursing leadership, rural healthcare access, and the advancement of interdisciplinary workforce development. She is active in several coalitions and collaboratives, including Family Planning Access for All Coloradans (FPAAC).
When Angie is not working, she can be found roaming our national parks with her husband and daughters or at her family’s farm in Northern Minnesota planting peony bulbs and hoping to learn the sport of skijoring.
