About me
Amanda Otamendi, MPH, CHES, is an Environmental Health Educator in the Colorado Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from South Dakota State University and a Master’s in Public Health from the Colorado School of Public Health. Amanda has a strong foundation in public health and health education. She is passionate about protecting children's health, and focuses on community outreach, education, and prevention strategies to reduce lead exposure and promote safer environments for Colorado families.
