About me
My name is Daniel Oxendine, and I’m a cultural anthropologist with a master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Denver. I’m an enrolled member of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina and care deeply about Indigenous advocacy and ensuring Native voices are heard in all spaces. I enjoy working with communities and co-creating projects and solutions together. This work continues to motivate me to support meaningful change and also reminds me of the importance of working together to create sustainable futures.
Roanhorse Consulting is an Indigenous-led firm that purposefully works to change power dynamics in health and wealth systems to build a world that our children and grandchildren will thrive in. They are unapologetically building a world where Indigenous ways of knowing and being are at the center of everything we do. They bring lived experiences of work and life to reimagine and design meaningful systems. They are able to accomplish this by using an Indigenous worldview to co-create solutions to complex problems.
