About me
Jason Vitello is a nationally recognized equity-centered public health practitioner, strategist, educator, policy advocate, and community activist. He is committed to the advancement of justice, equity, and healing in our communities, and within the systems that serve them. Jason is also a social worker and therapist who has provided over 15 years of direct advocacy and clinical services to individuals from systemically neglected communities, including extensive work supporting men and male youth through mental health, trauma, identity, and life-transition challenges. His advocacy in this arena is deeply personal - rooted not only in his professional experience, but in having once been a young man in need of support, guidance, and healing himself.
His ultimate interest is in collective liberation and the betterment of the human condition through fierce compassion, unity across struggles, the peaceful dismantling of structural inequalities, and comprehensive paradigm transformation
