About me
Julia Simhai (she/her), MPH, is a Director at Omni Institute, where she leads evaluation, applied research, and strategic planning initiatives that translate complex public health data into actionable insight for funders, agencies, and communities. Her work routinely integrates epidemiologic and surveillance data with primary data collected from clients, providers, and community members to estimate program reach, outcomes, and value. She has experience in evaluating the substance use continuum of care and several maternal and child health initiatives. She recently led a social return on investment analysis of the Colorado Perinatal Care Quality Collaborative’s perinatal substance use screening program, Turning the Tide. Julia holds a Master of Public Health in Health Behavior from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from the University of Maryland.
