Laura Thompson is a cross-disciplinary public health analyst specializing in geospatial epidemiology. She serves as a Health Workforce Analyst and Chronic Disease GIS Specialist within the Prevention Services Division at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. In this role, Laura applies spatial modeling to develop data products, web maps, and dashboards for the Primary Care Office and the Tobacco Program. Her work provides local public health agencies, healthcare systems, and other stakeholders with the technical resources needed to assess workforce capacity and inform tobacco policy.
