About me
Laura Shek has worked for the City and County of Broomfield Public Health and Environment Department since 2020. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Colorado and earned the Certified in Public Health (CPH) certificate in 2025. She has worked as an operations project manager in healthcare and public health for 16 years developing healthy eating active living programs, operations for the COVID-19 response, building community referral networks and systems integrations, and process improvement for department programs.
