About me
Maria Macias Chavez serves as the Tobacco and Youth Program Coordinator for the Department of Health and Environment at Larimer County. She has a masters in public health in community health education from the Colorado School of Public Health. She received a bachelor’s degree in human services with a minor in psychology from the University of Northern Colorado. Her current field placement is with the Department of Health and Environment at Larimer County tobacco team. She is interested in community health education for youth, immigrants, and families.
