About me
Dr. Margie Day, DHS, MHS, MHSc, CHES, TTS, ACSM-CET, is an Assistant Professor of Health Science at Colorado State University Pueblo, where she teaches courses in epidemiology, health behavior, public health, planning and evaluation, and interprofessional education. She is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Learning Science at the University of Miami. Dr. Day’s research and community-engaged scholarship focus on mental health literacy, public health equity, behavioral health, cannabis-use measurement, and experiential learning in higher education. She serves as Co-Chair of the Pueblo Region Academic Health Partnership (PRAHP) Research Working Group and collaborates with regional public health agencies, healthcare systems, and community organizations throughout southern Colorado. Her work emphasizes community-informed approaches to public health practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, and strengthening public health infrastructure through education, data, and partnership development.
