About me
Samie Stephens serves as the Public Health Data Modernization Liaison for the Colorado Association of Local Public Health Officials (CALPHO). In her role, she works closely with local public health agencies to help them use data more effectively for strategic planning and day-to-day operations. She is especially passionate about supporting rural and frontier agencies and connecting them with data modernization resources that can make their work more efficient. Samie brings more than 10 years of experience in local and state public health, with expertise in program evaluation, population epidemiology, emergency preparedness, and communicable diseases. She holds a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology from the Colorado School of Public Health.
