About me
Susan Westhof is a Partnerships and Systems Change Specialist at Jefferson County Public Health with nearly 20 years of experience in tobacco control, including more than a decade leading tobacco-related media initiatives. Her broader public health experience includes advancing community-based healthy eating and active living initiatives, as well as impaired driving prevention efforts. She has contributed to local policy initiatives focused on reducing youth access to tobacco and nicotine products and expanding smoke- and vape-free public spaces. Susan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University with dual majors in Marketing and Business Broadcasting and recently completed a Master of Social Work at Metropolitan State University of Denver. She is passionate about advancing social justice and health equity through efforts that address the root causes of tobacco-related disparities, strengthen social determinants of health, and promote broader community well-being.
